Depth Media looking for a freelance Video Editor / Videographer who's interested in commercial video production. You will be involved in al aspects of our projects—pre-production, lighting, audio, camera operation, and editing, editing, editing... You should have experience filming video with a DSLR or digital cinema camera and editing in Adobe Premiere. It’s a fast-paced environment, we’re constantly juggling numerous projects and clients. We'd like you to be organized, motivated, reliable, and able to work independently. You should have a degree, or current be majoring/minoring in film, video, photography, media production, communications, marketing or another related field.
Please provide a resume and samples of videos you’ve produced in the past. A large part of this role will be editing and filming eLearning courses, any related experience would be particularly beneficial. Reliability, good work ethic, and the ability to meet deadlines are the most important traits for this role—training will be provided if you lack experience in certain aspects of the job.
You can expect your time to be split between on-location filming (20%) and post-production/editing (80%). Editing hours are flexible as long as deadlines are met and projects are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
Production
• Camera operation / filming b-roll
• Setting up, adjusting, and monitoring lighting / audio equipment
• Securing signed model releases
• Behind-the-scenes photo / video for social media
Post-Production
• Importing, organizing, syncing multi-cam and archiving footage
• Reviewing on-camera interviews, organizing and categorizing responses
• Editing milti-cam eLearning courses with slide presentations
• Reviewing b-roll, editing, color correction
